So recently I’ve posted a new page on my website titled “ All About me “ I felt as though why would my readers trust the advice that I give unless they knew that I’ve lived through everything that I speak about. A few people reached out to me telling me what they thought. One person said “ that’s possibly the worst thing I can think of to happen “ , and it was. One of the worst things that I could ever think to happen to me as a young woman happened. I can say that now because it ended up being the best thing that happened FOR me. Let me say that again. One of the worst things that happened TO me , ended up being the best thing that happened FOR me. The only thing that can allow you to realize that is simple. Gratitude. I was grateful that my life fell apart because it came together even more beautiful than before. I was grateful that I was losing friends and family left and right until I was alone. It made room for all new friends who related to my life and who I am even more. I’ve spoken about gratitude in one of my previous blog posts. It’s easy to be grateful for all the little and big things when they’re good things that happen. Although no one teaches you to feel gratitude to all the things that broke you or in my case “ all the worse things “ . So the main purpose of this post is to explain to y’all that if you’re in one of those situations or even a season of your life and you just feel like “ why is this happening ? “ just keep holding on because it may sound cliche to say there’s always a light at the end of the tunnel , but it really is. I’ve been through the dark and it made me appreciate the light a whole lot more , even made it seem even brighter. Beau Taplin says “ You aren’t what has happened to you , you are how you’ve overcome it “ . It doesn’t matter whether you go through hell and come out with nothing to your name except the smile on your face. You still won. All the losses that I took in love, family, money, and career wise. Made every single win after that seem even bigger than before. It’s all about perspective and it’s all about gratitude. So the next time you’re trying to figure out “ why is this happening to me ? “ see what god is trying to make you realize, because 9 times out of 10 there’s a bigger purpose attached to all of it. If you’re reading this blog then you’re definitely meant for a lot more than the average person so it’ll always be a reason bigger than you. I hope you enjoyed this blog post. Share it if you feel called to or with anyone who you think might enjoy it. I hope you enjoy the rest of your day and always remember that your voice matters. So always speak boldly , authentically, and most importantly speak with love 💕 ✨
