“ Know Your Limits “

Marylin Monroe said “ a wise girl knows her limits . A smart girl knows that she has none”. The only limit to anything that you want is you. You have to believe that anything you want you can be, or do, or have. The entire world will try to limit you to a small corner of what you can achieve in life. It’s up to you to see past that and break those limitations. It all comes down to belief and faith. Know that you are unstoppable. The bad stuff you’ve been through in life doesn’t limit you from seeing all the good life still has to offer. Going through a terrible breakup won’t limit the amount of love that can still be poured into your life. Watching everyone grow up around you and follow the same path doesn’t limit the options in your life. Growing up in a restrictive neighborhood or environment puts no limit on how much of the world you can explore. If you fall short and let the limits take over your life you will end up suffocating in the comfortability. In Forbes latest data pull, only 8 percent of the world turns their dreams into reality. If you want to be apart of that 8 percent you have to be able to do what that other 92 percent won’t : not settle. It will seem challenging at first , it always does. You’re pushing yourself to do things that no one has else ever done. Things that some will tell you are impossible. It all comes down to your mindset which really is everything. The most common thing I heard when I started pursing my modeling was “ don’t let anyone sell you a dream” . People tried to limit me into thinking that what I wanted was nothing more than a dream. I believed that it was going to be my reality. Not because I saw anyone around me pursue their dream, just because I saw every other supermodel do it. So I knew it could be done, I had to ask myself “ why couldn’t I do it too ? “ That there is nothing in this world that can stop me from achieving all that I desire besides me. If you want to go even further, if you truly believe that God put your dreams in your mind for a reason that means it’s in his plans. How powerful do you really think the ones around you are, or how restrictive your environment is to ever stop something that God has planned. It’s up to you to believe that anything you want is achievable. Even when it comes to pursuing your dreams. Those never become accomplished they just get bigger. So from this day forward live life like you can have anything you want. Like you can wake up tomorrow and be anything that you want to be. Life is too unpromised to ever play small and not go for all the things you want. After my very first photoshoot I was calling myself a supermodel. Who says that I wasn’t ? Who says that you can’t be anything that you want to be in this life ? If someone doesn’t try , what gives them so much power to limit you ? The only thing that can is your mind. So if you want to know the one thing to take from this post is to ultimately believe in yourself no matter what anyone says or thinks. If you have to take precautions and keep the dreams to yourself do so. Don’t even give people the chance to try and put a chain on your mind. No matter what tests or potential roadblocks come your way, be UNSTOPPABLE!
