John C Maxwell says “ You’ll never change your life until you change what you do daily “ . The importance of a morning routine and night routine are always overlooked. It sets the tone for how you sleep and how you rise in the morning. Today I have a photoshoot , so before I went to sleep last night I prepped my skin with my cleanser and a coffee ground with honey face mask( great for putting a glow in your skin ), brushed my teeth, and used my whitening pen. Then I prayed, turned on my sleep affirmations, and got in the bed. Prayer or meditation is important when your growing or healing. To be able to connect with yourself on a higher level. Waking up, I stretched , prayed , exercised, made breakfast , and got ready to go. Now I’m not saying your routine has to be the same as mine, but healthy habits are the key to a good day , a great week , and a life you can enjoy. If praying or meditation aren’t for you . Do a self care / get to know you journal . Today my question was : “ Are there still people I need to forgive ? Are there still things I need to forgive myself for ? “ The short answer, yes to both of those questions. To elaborate, I end up apologizing and forgiving myself on the daily ! Reminding myself of my worth and that everyone makes mistakes and they’re not what makes me. Forgiving others is the easier part for me. For you to have peace you have to let go completely. I keep this thought in the back of my head when it comes to forgiveness or moving on “ If you let go a little, you’ll have a little peace. If you let go a lot , you’ll have a lot of peace. If you let go COMPLETELY, you’ll have complete peace.” Building routines that help you grow physically and mentally are what connects your mindset to who you want to become. Every day I ask myself “ Who do I want to become ? Who is she ? What are her routines ?“ ; and it helps more than you would think. Remember that it takes 21 days to build a habit and 90 days to build a lifestyle. Of course it takes determination and consistency. Below I’ll attach some of the things that helped me to build my habits. I hope you took what you needed from this post and share it with anyone you think needs to hear it as well. 1 Corinthians 13:13 “ Three things will last forever—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love .” Thank you for reading, I hope you have “ a good day on purpose “. Just be sure that whatever you say you speak with love 💕 - Alaina Marie
